Rheinmetall has been awarded a contract worth €250 million to deliver maintenance and repair services for tanks in the Czech Republic.

The agreement will cover the Leopard 2A4 main battle tank as well as the BPz3 Büffel armoured recovery vehicle. Rheinmetall will be responsible for ensuring these vehicles remain operational as part of the fleet upgrades recently undertaken by the Czech Republic. The company will manage repairs, supply spare parts, and conduct overhauls.

Rheinmetall’s work will help the Czech Armed Forces maintain the readiness of their armoured units. The contract highlights continued defence collaboration between Germany and the Czech Republic.
